THE SUNBEAM CAR CLUB OF NEW ZEALAND (INC) - It was originally formed as the Sunbeam Owners Club on the 15th of April, 1972 at Hamilton. That evening 10 enthusiasts put their heads together and New Zealand had its first Sunbeam Owners Club Branch, centred in the Waikato. The Wellington, Auckland, Mainland, Taranaki and Manawatu Branches, soon followed and formed the nucleus of the Sunbeam Owners Club in NZ. Research indicates it was the first such club in the world. In the mid 80's they amalgamated with the Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register.

MG CLUBS IN NEW ZEALAND - The M.G. Car Club (Auckland Centre) Inc is affiliated to the U.K. M.G. Car Club and caters for the vintage M.G. owner through to current MG models providing activities for all interests and all ages.
